Halloween origins are found in the Celtic festival of the dead, Samhain (SOW-win). Samhain is celebrated on the eve of October 31st and on the day of November 1st, marking the Celtic New Year.

Samhain is the night that the world begins anew. The day of the year when the thin veil of mist, that separates our world from those of death and magick, thins and all worlds meet as one to celebrate the turning of the wheel.
